Watford MP hopefuls answer questions at hustings - recap

  • Three of the men who hope be the next Watford MP will be making their pitches tonight at the General Election Forum.
  • The hustings take place at Beechen Grove Baptist Church from 7.45pm. The event is expected to end at 9.30pm.
  • The Observer will be reporting live as Conservative candidate Dean Russell, Labour's Chris Ostrowski and Liberal Democrat Ian Stotesbury answer questions from the public.
  • The Social Democratic Party candidate Michael McGetrick is not able to attend.
  • Each candidate will give a three-minute opening statement before answering questions.
  • Candidates will have two minutes to answer each question - which they will not see in advance - before making a two-and-a-half-minute closing statement.
