A crash at a busy junction on the A41 is causing further misery for drivers in Watford this evening.
It looks like a minimum of two vehicles have collided at the junction of Woodmere Avenue opposite the entrance to the Meriden estate.
The crash happened before 6.30pm.
An image captured by Hertfordshire County Council traffic cameras shows two vehicles side by side, with a further two close by - although it's unclear exactly how many vehicles are involved.

The crash has left traffic crawling in both directions on the A41, northbound from the Dome roundabout and south from the Hartspring roundabout near Bushey.
The area should be avoided if possible.
This incident came after chaos on the ring road earlier this evening in Watford.
A closure of Water Lane due to a burst water main coupled with a broken down vehicle on the ring left many frustrated motorists stuck in the town centre for some time.
Water Lane remains closed but most of the delays have now cleared.
Meanwhile, Hempstead Road shuts at 11pm tonight between the junctions of Courtlands Drive and Hunton Bridge roundabout due to the NATO event at The Grove.
The road will reopen at midnight on Thursday.
