Police investigating a crash which happened back in the summer are appealing for an elderly couple to get in touch.

Back on Sunday August 11, three cars hit each other in Watford Road, Kings Langley, near junction 20 for the M25.

The crash involved a Volkswagen Passat, a Mini Countryman Cooper S, and a Renault Trafic.

One person sustained a large cut to their head.

Police say enquiries have been ongoing for some time but they still need help.

Police Constable Ben Powell, of the road policing unit, said: "I appreciate this incident took place in the summer, however we are continuing to make enquiries into it.

"I am particularly trying to trace an elderly couple who stopped at the scene of the collision.

"It is thought they assisted one of the parties involved by taking him to hospital as he had a large cut to the front of his head.

"If this was you, you may have valuable information which could help the investigation, please do get in contact by calling 101."

Call 101 quoting ISR 497 of 11 August 2019 if you can help.
