A bowling alley hosted a glitzy VIP party to celebrate a year since it opened.
Hollywood Bowl opened at the intu centre in Watford in mid-December 2018 as part of the £180 million extension, and more than 190,000 games of bowling have been played across 14 lanes.
The centre last week celebrated its first year with a party, with food and bowling, and free play on some of the most popular arcade games.
A Marilyn Monroe lookalike brought some glamour to the birthday celebrations by jumping out of cake and singing ‘Happy Birthday’.
The venue created 34 jobs and the party commemorated the centre’s first year of success.
The second Hollywood Bowl in Watford brought 34 new jobs for locals.
Abi Harris, centre manager at Hollywood Bowl Watford intu, said: “The response from our customers has been incredibly positive this past year and we are so thrilled not only to see so many regular customers, but also with the amazing feat of achieving almost 200,000 games of bowling.
“We’re delighted that we can continue offering the best family entertainment experience and can’t wait to see what the next year and beyond looks like for Hollywood Bowl Watford intu.”
