Hello, my name is Audrey and I’m two-and-a-half years old. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust when my owner had a change in circumstances.

As I haven’t had the most settled start in life, I’m a nervous little lady and need a lot of time, patience and TLC. I’m looking for an extra-special home with an owner who has a lot of experience with nervous and reactive dogs and who understands dog behaviour.

Watford Observer:

Sadly, I find the world quite a scary place and it takes me a while to trust people I don’t know well. But I’ve been given a lot of training to help with my difficulties and everyone says I’ve come a really long way since being at the centre.

It takes me a long time to build up a bond and trust someone, so my new humans will need to make lots of visits to meet me so we can get to know each other. I’m looking for a quiet, adult-only home in a peaceful location. I’d also like to be the only pet in the home so I get all your love and attention.

If you’re that special person who could give me a calm, loving home (and an hour’s walkies every day), I’d love to meet you. Please contact the NAWT on 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
