Emergency roadworks are causing major delays in both directions through Radlett.

Stop-and-go boards are in operation in Watling Street at the junction of Shenley Hill - this is due to roadworks relating to flooding.

Temporary traffic lights are also in operation at the other end of the shopping street at the junction with Aldenham Avenue.

As a result, Watling Street is queuing in both directions into the village - particularly badly from Frogmore.

Intalink reports journey times are around 45 minutes.

The roadworks at Aldenham Avenue are expected to end today.

At the end of January, a burst water main flooded Watling Street at the junction with The Drive.
