An estate agent has been appointed to sell a shopping centre.
Knight Frank has said it is looking for offers for the Broadwalk Centre in Edgware, which houses several stores including Sainsburys and Boots.
The estate agent says the shopping centre, which is based next to Edgware Station, is being brought to market after being "long considered one of North London’s most exciting regeneration opportunities".
According to Property Week, it is understood the estate agent is looking for offers of over £60 million for the shopping centre.
So far the site has been considered for various options including development on the existing car park for extended retail and 1,000 new homes.
Charlie Barke, partner at Knight Frank, said: “This is a site offering huge potential and we would expect residential and mixed use developers to consider it closely.
"Rarely does a freehold site of this scale come up in such a strong location”.
