An overturned car shut a slip road on a busy motorway this morning.
The crash happened on the M1 exit ramp at junction 6 (North Watford / Bricket Wood) heading northbound on February 22.
According to BCH Road Policing there were only “slight injuries” following the crash.

No other cars are reported to have been involved.
Both exit and enrty slip roads are now re-opened.

The incident had caused long queues for motorists this morning after all traffic had been held for over five minutes whilst lane closures were put in place.

Traffic is now clear on the M1, although remains slow on the exit slip road.
