- As of March 4, there are three confirmed coronavirus cases in Hertfordshire and 85 across the UK.
- The first case in the county was confirmed on Saturday (February 29) which seems to have been contracted in Asia.
- Two additional cases were confirmed on Sunday (March 1).
- Another confirmed case was a clinician at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood.
- However, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust later released a statement that said the clinician has tested negative.
- On Tuesday (March 4), the government announced its battle a
- plan to contain the virus outbreak.
- And today, the government announced 34 more confirmed cases, but did not reveal where these cases are.
