Watford's MP held a video conference call with a Watford-based company playing a major role fighting coronavirus.

Dean Russell met virtually with the senior team at GAMA Healthcare, one of the biggest suppliers of disinfectant wipes to the NHS, to find out how they were keeping up with demand and keeping their own staff safe.

GAMA has had to ramp up production in recent months to meet the demand for their infection prevention and control products for hospital staff across the country.

The company, situated in Regal Way, also donated 25,000 wipes to NHS staff and key charities.

During the meeting, Mr Russell found out what GAMA is doing to develop new solutions to prevent the spread of infection - GAMA says its products reduce the spread of micro-organisms and pathogens, including Covid-19.
