Police have released CCTV images of a man after a trailer was stolen.
The trailer was stolen from Orchard Close in Chorleywood last Thursday (June 11) midday, as the owner was in the middle of loading it up with household items.
Now a CCTV image has been released of a man who police believe might be able to help with enquiries.
PCSO Dean Redhead, from the Three Rivers Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “The owner of the trailer was in the middle of loading it up with household items when he had popped back inside his home. When he came back out, the trailer was gone and it was then spotted being taken in the direction of Orchard Drive.
“We believe that the man pictured was in the area at the time and he could have vital information about the theft. He was driving a white Mercedes van which had a logo on the side advertising asbestos removal.
“Do you recognise him? If so, please get in contact. I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the theft or anyone who has information about what happened.
“If you can help, please call the non-emergency number 101 or email me at dean.redhead@herts.pnn.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/45483/20.”
