THE daily reported coronavirus deaths at Bradford district hospitals has returned to zero today.

NHS England announced in Tuesday's update that there were no further deaths reported from the COVID-19 virus at hospitals in the Bradford district.

This includes Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI), Airedale General Hospital and Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

It comes after there were two new deaths from the virus reported at BRI yesterday, with just three other deaths across the rest of England.

That was after five days without a new reported death at hospitals in the district, up until Monday's update.

Today's update of no new reported deaths from coronavirus means the total death toll at hospitals in the Bradford district remains at 347 - 236 at BRI, 109 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

NHS England announced one patient at a hospital in the North East and Yorkshire who tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) has died.

That death was in Yorkshire and the Humber, at the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

It was reported today but happened yesterday.

There were an extra six deaths reported today across England, taking the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in the country to 29,352.

Patients in today's update were aged between 46 and 93-years-old. 

All patients had underlying health conditions.

Their families have been informed.
