What started life as a "blank canvas" has become a garden Danielle Jacobs is "very proud of" at her home in Bushey.

The Watford Observer has been asking readers to give us a glimpse of their garden during the summer and Danielle got in touch to tell us how much she has enjoyed working in her garden and watching it flourish.

Watford Observer:

Hydrangeas in pots. With agapanthus

She said: "We moved into this house 18 years ago. It was a blank canvas.

"I have loved planting this south facing garden with a shady corner. I love seeing this garden establish. I'm very proud of my garden."

Watford Observer:

Holly, Hebe and "another favourite" is an Acer tree

Although summer is coming to an end, you can still give us a glimpse of your garden by filling in this Watford Observer Q&A form and submitting it with up to four pictures.
