A WORLD-RENOWNED Welsh actor is set to embark on the first UK tour of his debut album, which will feature a visit to Venue Cymru.

Luke Evans’ debut album ‘At Last’ combines his gravel-tinged tenor with an eclectic collection of modern and classic songs, which he personally curated to highlight and complement his unique style.

The acting star, who has featured in high-profile films including Clash of the Titans and The Hobbit, is familiar with the stage following past appearances in West End shows such as Rent and Piaf.

He will reopen the red curtain in Wales with a performance in Llandudno on Thursday, January 14, supported by emotive singer-songwriter Jazz Morley.

“As some people know, it’s been my dream throughout my life to record and release an album,” said Mr Evans, from Pontypool.

“And now that the response to my debut album ‘At Last’ has been so brilliant, I’m finally getting a chance to fulfil another dream of mine to go on tour and perform these songs to my fans.

“I can promise that I will be delivering an entertaining show for everyone, with a few surprises in store.”

The performances take place at 7.30pm. Tickets start at £43.
