Less people are travelling to work due to the pandemic
The huge tailbacks that occurred after roads closed in Bushey underlines once more how our over-reliance on the car is getting us absolutely nowhere.
If the virus has taught anything it is to drive an oil tanker through the ‘best value’ model where distance is no object.
It has taken lockdown to unleash the potential of new technology such as Zoom to work remotely and spawn a revolution in the way many not just work but carry out many activities.
The virus has achieved what society could not, yet needed to do - question the need to travel.
