There is a significant police presence this afternoon after an arrow was reportedly shot at a property.
Armed police were called to North Watford at 2.15pm.
A police spokesperson said: "Police are currently in Berry Avenue, Watford, following reports that an arrow had been shot at the window of a home.
"No-one has been injured and a 45 year old man from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He remains in police custody at this time.
"This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety."
Berry Avenue is just off the A41, close to the Dome roundabout.
Armed police officers have been stationed on the A41 itself with police officers also spotted in a nearby park.
The helicopter has also be circling.
