Businesses and other organisations in our area are stepping in to help feed children in need over the half term break.

The Government voted against the motion by the Labour party this month, which called for the scheme to be extended over the school holidays until Easter 2021.

It was defeated by 261 votes to 322. Now businesses and organisations in our area have decided to provide free meals, lunches, food packages or free grocery items to help keep families fed over the holiday.

Here is a list of businesses or charities that are offering free food.
