Hello, my name is Pattie and I’m a pretty 14-year-old lady looking for my retirement home. I was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) in July when my owner sadly went into a care home.

When I arrived my fur was matted so I had to have a bit of a funny haircut but it’s all growing back nicely now. I will need regular brushing if I’m lucky enough to find my new home.

I’m a friendly girl who loves attention and I purr very loudly when I’m being fussed. I prefer human attention to toys and enjoy spending most of the day snoozing away in a cosy bed.

Watford Observer:

I’m looking for a home with adults or families with children aged eight and over and I would like to be the only pet in the household. Once I’ve settled in, I’ll need access to the outdoors so that I can sunbathe.

Like all cats taken in by the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered and come with four free weeks of Petplan Insurance. As I am an older girl, I do have some health issues that my vet will need to discuss with you.

If you’d like a calm, affectionate companion, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
