FLOWERS and personal messages have been left at a crime scene where a 24-year-old man was stabbed to death.
Several bouqets have been left on a nearby bench in Crawley after the incident on Tuesday night.
Armed officers rushed to the scene of the crime in Russell Way, Three Bridges, at 9pm on Tuesday where they found a 24-year-old man with severe injuries.
Paramedics and the air ambulance were called but, despite providing specialist care to the victim, his life could not be saved and he died at the scene.
Last night, a 14-year-old girl was arrested in south London at about 10.20pm on suspicion of murder.
A 21-year-old man from London was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Flowers and handwritten messages were left at the scene of the stabbing this morning as friends paid tribute to the victim.
A note on one bouqet read: “RIP. Gone but never forgotten.
“May you rest up in perfect peace.”
Another said: “May God bless you and all of your loved ones.
“Never forget. Fly high.”
