Four men who were suspected to about to commit a burglary were arrested.
Officers were called to Imperial Way, Watford, in the early hours this morning (November 18) to reports of suspicious men leaving a van.
The men were all wearing balaclavas, and after a quick scan police found the van showed up as stolen.
Police began searching the industrial estate on foot and spotted men trying to return to the van.
The men were chased on foot and eventually detained by the officers.
Hertfordshire Constabulary say that they suspect the men were about to commit burglaries and all four were arrested for conspiracy to commit a burglary, going equipped and theft of a vehicle.
They remain in custody while enquiries into the investigation continues.
