Hello, my name is Thumper, a girl, and this is my friend Tinker, who’s a boy.

We’re a pair of ‘bonded’ three-year-old bunnies looking for our forever home together. We came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in July when our owner couldn’t look after us.

We’re an inquisitive pair who enjoy playing in tunnels and watching what’s going on around us. Our favourite thing is gnawing on an apple wood branch together. We can be a little shy but, once we know you, we enjoy gentle fuss.

We’re Lionhead rabbits so need regular grooming to avoid bad ‘hare’ days. We’re still getting used to being groomed but are beginning to enjoy it.

Watford Observer:

As bonded rabbits, we spend most of our days and nights together. We tend to visit the litter tray at the same time, eat together and groom together. We spend a lot of time snuggled up together sleeping.

We’re looking for a home with adults or families with children of any age where the grown-ups do most of the handling. We’ll need a two-storey hutch with run attached so we can explore safely. We could live indoors or outdoors but would need to have heating in the colder months if we lived outside.

Watford Observer:

Coming from the NAWT, we’ve been vaccinated, wormed, chipped and neutered – and had a full heath check too.

If you could give us both a loving home, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to meet us.
