Hello, my name’s Tasha and I’m a beautiful seven-year-old girl.

I was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust in July when my owner’s circumstances changed. I came here with my kitten Tiger but now he’s old enough to no longer need me, I’m looking for a home on my own.

Unfortunately, I have had a stressful time recently and that sometimes makes me seem a little standoffish. Because of my past I am wary of new people and it takes me a while to adjust to new situations but when I’m settled and relaxed, I am a friendly and affectionate girl.

I’m looking for a quiet home with adults or families with children age 12 and over and, as I’m feeling a bit bewildered, I’d like to be the only pet in the home.

Watford Observer:

Once I’ve settled into my new home, I will need access to the outdoors so that I can explore.

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; and come with four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

Watford Observer:

As any cat lover will confirm, stroking or playing with a furry companion is a great way to lower stress and anxiety. In fact, it’s been scientifically proven that cat owners have a lower risk of heart disease and strokes. If you can give beautiful Tasha the calm, loving home she needs, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
