The Met Office is warning that snow may fall this morning – but it is forecast to just miss Watford and surrounding areas.
The weather forecaster has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain and snow in some parts of the East of England.
The warning is in place until 10am.
Unfortunately for anyone hoping it will snow, it is not predicted to do so anywhere in South West Herts and most of Hertfordshire.
Areas where there is a warning of snow include Bishops Stortford and Sawbridgeworth.
There is also a warning for it in some parts of neighbouring Essex, as well as areas such as Cambridge.

The Met Office said: “Heavy rain, and in places sleet and snow, will continue to make driving conditions rather difficult through the morning travel period. In a few places 1-2 cm of snow could accumulate, mainly on grassy surfaces over the North Downs and Chilterns.”
The weather in South West Herts:
It is set to be a cloudy day today, with rain expected to fall at several points.
Highs of around 5c are expected.
The Met Office is predicting that it will get lighter during the afternoon, from around 4pm.
