Hello, my name’s JoJo and I’m a sensitive two-year-old girl. I was abandoned at the National Animal Welfare Trust in a cardboard box, emaciated and with a litter of newborn kittens during lockdown.

I’ve had a traumatic time and now find it difficult to trust humans, but my carers here at the NAWT have been so understanding and patient with me, I’m beginning to understand that not all humans are scary.

Having had such a bad start in life, I’m a sensitive girl and don’t adapt well to change. I’m nervous in new situations and when meeting unfamiliar people but I respond well to a gentle approach.

My new home will need to be quiet, without any children or other animals, and my new humans will need to be experienced cat owners who will be understanding and patient with me. They’d also need to be home most of the day to continue my socialisation.

Watford Observer:

My carers here say it’s likely to take me a long time to settle into my new home but, once I do, I’d like access to the outdoors so I can explore.

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; and come with four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

If you’re the kind person who can give poor JoJo the peaceful, loving home she needs, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
