Hello, my name’s Raphie and I’m a handsome four-year-old boy looking for my forever home.

I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in November when my owner’s circumstances changed.

A Mastiff Cross, I’m a gentle giant who loves to greet everyone. I enjoy having lots of fuss and I love my belly rubs. Because I love human company, I don’t like being by myself, but I can be left for two hours at a time. Although I’m big, I only need two half-hour walks a day.

Watford Observer: RaphieRaphie does not need extensive walking

When I am not having my belly rubbed, I like to snuggle up on a duvet and have a snooze. I haven’t shown much interest in toys here at the centre, but once I have settled in, maybe I will start to play with them. I am a big dog and will need someone who has had large breeds before.

I’m looking for an adult-only home or a family with children age 16 and over. I’d like to be the only pet in the home so I can have all the attention to myself.

Watford Observer: RaphieHe will require an owner who has had a large breed before

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; given an individual training plan and four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

If you think you could be the special human to offer me my forever home, please call on 0208 950 0177 (option 2) or email reception@nawt.org.uk to arrange for us to meet.
