Parts of Watford have flooded for the second day running following heavy rainfall.
Water Lane, which was submerged by rainwater yesterday, has again flooded today.

A red flood warning is in place for Rickmansworth along the River Colne, meaning flooding is expected and residents should take immediate action.
Heavy rain across the last few days has caused water levels to rise to dangerous levels and the Environment Agency warns of a likelihood to flooding in properties in low lying areas around the River Colne, particularly within the Batchworth, Money Hill and Maple.

The Environment Agency warned: “Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. No further rain is forecast today but river levels will remain high throughout the day.”
As of Sunday morning there were 191 flood alerts and 76 flood warnings in place across England.
