Pictures: Scenery and wildlife enjoyed taking walks in Watford area

The improved weather is providing more opportunities to make the most of your daily exercise and enjoy the scenery and wildlife all around us.

Our Camera Club members have again captured some great pictures of places to enjoy walking. Scroll down this page to enjoy this week's selection, but it is again time for a change of theme.

Following the Prime Minister's 'roadmap' for ending lockdown, there is light at the end of the tunnel. And that is the new challenge for our talented photographers, who are free to interpret it literally or metaphorically.

The Watford Observer Camera Club is a Facebook-based group. It is open to all photographers – from those who snap pictures on their phones, to professionals who capture perfect shots with specialist equipment.

Every month, the camera club is set a new challenge, a theme is selected and then the work starts.
