De'Graft Mensah

De’Graft Mensah studied a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Journalism, graduating from Bournemouth University in 2017.

Since then he has gone on to become a Senior Presenter at the BBC and currently presents the children's news programme Newsround.

The incredibly talented De-Graft recently spoke about his Ghanian heritage to help teach children about inclusivity, racism and black history. 

Montana Brown

Montana Brown was an Islander on Season 3 of the hit series Love Island in 2017 - entered the villa on Day 1 and was dumped from the island on Day 50.

Born in Hertfordshire she attended Bournemouth University where she studied PR just before entering the Love Island villa.

Montana founded her own sustainable swimwear company, Swim Society in 2019 and since then the brand has continued to grow - having been sold on ASOS, Topshop and other high street retailers.

Edgar Wright

Dorset-born filmmaker, Edgar Wright is best known for his critically acclaimed films Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead and his most recent box office hit, Baby Driver.

He studied a National Diploma in Audio-Visual Design at Arts University Bournemouth, known as Bournemouth and Poole College at the time, between 1992-1994. 

He went on to make his first feature film, A Fistful of Fingers, shortly after graduating in 1995.

Rebecca Huxtable

Rebecca 'Beccy' Huxtable is a British radio personality and producer, best known for her work as an assistant producer and co-host of The Scott Mills Show with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1.

At BBC Radio 1, Huxtable worked with Sara Cox on her weekend radio show and then moved to work with Scott Mills. In April 2008 she replaced Laura Sayers as producer. She worked with Mills for almost five years before stepping down following long periods of time off due to ill health.

In January 2010, Huxtable won the Funniest Radio Sidekick in the Loaded Lafta awards.

Frankie Gaff

Frankie Gaff rose to fame on hit reality Channel 4 series Made In Chelsea.

One of her most famous on-going storylines was with former boyfriend Jamie Laing and she is known for being close friends with fellow-star Tiffany Watson.

She studied BA (Hons) Business Studies at Bournemouth University.

She has previously collaborated with brands including Astrid and Miyu, Charlotte Tilbury, Nasty Gal, Gola and Nescafe.

Business-minded Frankie also launched her own line of swimwear with Grace Jacob Swim in 2017. 

Twinks Burnett

Twinks Burnett is a fashion stylist, creative director and accessories designer who studied BA (Hons) Fashion at Arts University Bournemouth.

After graduating in 2014, she went on to win the ‘Fashion Styling and Creative Direction’ award at Graduate Fashion Week.

Her work has featured in the likes of Noctis, Atlas, Wonderland and i-D Online.

She recently appeared in the BBC Three series Misfits Salon as the head stylist helping to give people life affirming makeovers.
