Hello, my name’s Reg and I’m a nervous seven-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a new home. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in February this year when my previous owners no longer had the time to look after me.

I’m an apprehensive boy who finds new people and situations scary, but please don’t be put off if I bark or growl – I’m really friendly when I get to know you. Once I’ve had a chance to suss you out I love to have a cuddle and play with my toys.

I am looking for a quiet adult only home without any other pets. Because I was mistreated in the past, my new owner will need to be gentle, understanding and experienced with dogs. I need somebody who’ll take the time to show me the world isn’t such a scary place and help build my confidence.

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; given an individual training plan and four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

What I’d like more than anything in the world is a loving home and kind, patient owner to call my own. If that could be you, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit
