Hello, my name is Twiglet and I’m a long-haired, 13-year-old boy looking for my forever home. I was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust as my owner sadly passed away.

Although it has taken me a little while to settle into the cattery I am growing in confidence every day. Instead of hiding away all the time, I am spending more and more time out and about and will even sometimes give you hand a cheeky head rub. I love my treats and can easily be won over with some Dreamies.

I’m very shy and nervous so I’ll need an owner who’s patient and will allow me to settle in at my own pace. I have beautiful long fur that will need regular grooming once I’ve settled in and got to know my new owners.

I’m looking for a quiet adult-only home where I’m the only pet and someone is home a lot of the day to continue my socialisation. I’d also like access to the outdoors.

I can still be a bit uncomfortable with being handled or picked up but am now starting to enjoy a little fuss.

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; and come with four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

If you’re a kind, patient person who could give me a good home, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
