A taxi driver was reportedly threatened at knifepoint by two men.

Police responded to reports of an incident in The Queens Drive in Mill End at around 6.45pm on Friday May 7.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says they were told a taxi driver had been threatened with a knife following an altercation with two people, who later fled the scene.

The taxi driver was not injured during the incident.

Police officers carried out a search of the area to try and find the two men who had run off, but the suspects have yet to be traced, although police say enquiries are continuing at this time.

However, officers have seized a machete as part of the investigation. The weapon was found lying in the front garden of a property in The Queens Drive.
