Sir Elton John looks set to team up with Years & Years for a surprise performance at tonight’s Brit Awards.

The music star has reportedly agreed to sing with Olly Alexander, who performs as Years and Years, after becoming a fan of Olly's performance as Ritchie Tozer in Channel 4 drama It's A Sin.

It is reported that they will perform the Pet Shop Boys song, It’s A Sin, after Olly covered it to celebrate the show’s release.

A source told The Sun: “Elton and Olly have become unlikely pals and when the idea was floated that they should perform together on the night they jumped at it.

“It has been a last-minute decision and it is all being kept hush hush so there will be a surprise for viewers, but they have been working hard to put on something really special.”

Sir Elton was recently seen at Vicarage Road for Watford’s game with Swansea City at the weekend and took to social media to congratulate the Hornet’s after they won 2-0.

He said on Instagram: ““Big day out for the F-J Family as we attended today’s game at @watfordfcofficial

“It was an honour to hand out Player of the Year Award to the great Ismaila Sarr. Runners up were Kiko Femenia and Francisco Sierralta.”

Elton John, who fell in love with the club growing up in Pinner, north London, was chairman and owner of the club during its ascent from the Fourth Division to the First Division in the 1970s and 1980s.

He stepped down as chairman in 2002 but has remained heavily involved with the club, holding fundraising concerts at Vicarage Road in 2005 and 2010, and following the club avidly.
