Hello, my name’s Blue. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in April when my mate died, leaving me sad and lonely.

I’m looking for a home with a new female friend of a similar size and age to me. I’m a Netherland dwarf so pretty small and fluffy. I’m only 11 months old so am looking for a girl bunny to share my life with who’s around a year old as well.

I’m a friendly, confident boy and will hop over to say hello to you. I like to be stroked and love my veggies, especially kale and cucumber.

I can live with adults or families with children of any age as long as the grown-ups do most of the handling. As I love human company so much, I’d be best living as a house rabbit.

Did you know rabbits are very inquisitive and intelligent so tend to get bored quite easily? We need toys to keep our brains active.

We Netherland dwarfs are very popular as with plenty of love and care, we make gentle, affectionate pets. Like all rabbits, we not only like to chew, we need to chew because our teeth grow constantly. So I’ll enjoy small chewable toys and branches from fruit trees.
