A live musical performance scheduled to go ahead in Cassiobury Park has been cancelled due to poor weather.
Watford Borough Council says it is “with regret” that it has decided to cancel the ‘Brass on the Grass event’ tonight (June 21), which was due to go ahead as part of international Make Music Day.
The event would have seen the Watford Brass Band play at the Bandstand in Cassiobury Park from 7.00pm to 8.30pm.
But in a tweet this afternoon, the council said: “It is with regret that we have made the decision to cancel 'Brass on the Grass' in Cassiobury Park this evening.

The Met Office says rain will fall across Watford through the afternoon and continue into the evening until 8pm.
Heavy rain is expected at 5pm and 7pm, the forecaster says.
