Burglars raided a home in Bushey before stealing a large amount of jewellery.

The home in Chiltern Avenue was broken into between 8pm on Friday, July 9 and 12pm on Tuesday, July 13.

Hertfordshire Constabulary is investigating the burglary and has released details of some of the stolen items in a bid to trace them and return them to their rightful owner.

A wedding ring, gold chain, engagement ring and watches were among items stolen.

Investigator Kay Leverton said: “Whilst the items stolen are of course of significant monetary value, the sentimental value of the jewellery is absolutely priceless to the victim.

“We would like nothing more than to return the property to them. If you have any information about the stolen items, please get in touch as soon as you can.

“Alternatively, if you believe you may have witnessed the burglary taking place, or you saw any suspicious behaviour in the vicinity of Chiltern Avenue between the dates specified, please contact us. Even information that may seem relatively small or insignificant could be key to progressing our investigation.”
