HARTLEPOOL United attacking midfielder Gavan Holohan has won the League Two Goal of the Month award for August.
Holohan received his nomination for his matchwinning goal in the 2-1 win over Carlisle United at Victoria Park.
The 29-year-old chested the ball from a clearing header on the edge of the box and struck a wonderful volley into the top of the net with the ball flying past the United keeper.

Holohan was nominated alongside Bristol Rovers' Sam Finley for his beautiful curling effort from range and Salford City's Matty Willock who struck home from 25 yards.
Pools are currently doing without Holohan in the side at the moment as he continues his recovery from an abductor problem.
