A real estate company says there is a "renewed sign of confidence" in the Watford commercial property marked after a company doubled its office space.

The RO Group has announced Fievel Healthcare Ltd has expanded its operations at the GNR8 building in Clarendon Road.

Fievel had originally leased a 1,521 sq ft space in the recently modernised office building but has since taken on a total of 3,880 sq ft on a five year lease.

David Kershaw, group real estate director at the RO said: "Despite ongoing uncertainty across the property market and wider economy, GNR8 has remained resilient as an asset for us.

"Demand for offices in Clarendon Road remains strong and with the return to work in full swing, we anticipate further demand for well connected, high quality offices with access to a wide variety of amenities both within the building and local area.

"There are many aspects about GNR8 that make it an attractive place to work rather than at home, not least the three star Fitwel accreditation and the high specification business lounge which is ideal to accommodate a flexible working style."

The RO Group says around 4,700 sq. ft. remains available at its GNR8 building, which is next door to Radius House which is the home of Watford Employment Tribunal, and oppsite Forty Clarendon Road; the home of 'Big Four' accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
