A 16-year-old boy was arrested after he was see showing a knife to a group of other teenagers.
Armed officers, a police helicopter and other local officers searched South Oxhey on Tuesday (October 12) after reports of a knife sighting in the area.
It was reported that a teenager was showing the knife to a group in Oakdale Road, South Oxhey at 3.20pm.
Shortly after the search, the boy was found at a property in Wentworth Drive.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article before he was taken into custody.
He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
