A former Watford teacher who was jailed for sexually abusing three pupils has been sentenced for two more counts of indecent assault. 

Terence Back was given a six-year prison sentence in 2015 after being found guilty of indecent assault in the 70s and 80s while working at Kingsway Junior School in Watford and Whitehall Junior School in Uxbridge.

The 76-year-old has now pleaded guilty to two more counts against two female victims at Kingsway Junior School during the same period.

Back, of Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, was sentenced on Monday, September 27 to eight months’ prison suspended for a year.

The former teacher must abide by a curfew requiring him to stay at his home address between 7pm and 7am.

He is also the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which will be in place for 10 years, and prohibits being in unsupervised company of any child under 15.

The abuse he was sentenced for in 2015 was against victims aged eight to 11 and involved him pulling down their clothing and smacking their bottoms.

He had initially denied any wrongdoing but was found guilty by a jury at Isleworth Crown Court.
