An independent prep school on the outskirts of Croxley Green has opened its "simply stunning" new buildings this week, much to the excitement and delight of its pupils.
The children at York House School have been enjoying a range of different lessons in their new surroundings, which include the addition of a purpose-built, multi-tiered performance theatre with glass walls for music and drama.
The £3.5 million development also includes a new double height music room, four additional music practice rooms, four spacious classrooms and new changing facilities for both boys and girls.
Jon Gray, headmaster at York House School said: "We have been waiting in anticipation for our new facilities to open and it has been fantastic to see the reaction from our pupils. There are huge smiles on faces and there has been a real buzz around school."
Mr Gray added: "Opening the new building development has been a wonderful addition to the new school year and we are very much looking forward to seeing our children make the most of these amazing surroundings and the opportunities they will provide in the future."
