Watford train services have been disrupted after a person was hit by a train this morning (Tuesday, October 19).
The incident has occurred at Headstone Lane station between Watford Junction and London Eustion stations.
National Rail confirmed the person had been hit by the train around 8.40am.
The railway operator said this morning: "A person has been hit by a train between Watford Junction and London Euston. As all lines are currently closed, trains may be cancelled or diverted until approximately 11:15."

In an updated post around 9.38am, it said that lines have reopened although warned trains may still be cancelled or delayed up to 60 minutes.
This disruption is expected to last until 12.15pm.

Avanti West Coast, London Northwestern, Southern and London Overground services are affected by the incident.
British Transport Police has been approached for further details.
