An afternoon of clairvoyance was held at an animal welfare centre in the town to raise money for the team who look after the animals.

The clairvoyant event raised £300 to support the work of Watford’s National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT).

The funds will help the NAWT team care for the numerous cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs currently looking for their “forever homes”.

Clairvoyance is the claimed ability to gain information about an object, person, location, or physical event through extrasensory perception.

Watford Observer:

Pauline Firks, who has been a medium for over 30 years, has all the money raised from her events go to animal welfare charities.

She is a spiritualist medium, healer, author and teacher who has worked in film, television and theatre and is also a classically trained ballerina.

All the animals up for adoption can be viewed at the Watford centre on the NAWT website here: https://www.nawt.org.uk/centres/hertfordshire
