Hello, my name is Angus and I’m a bouncy, bubbly seven-month-old boy.

I was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust in October as I wasn’t getting along very well with my brother so now I’m looking for a home with a lovely, neutered girl rabbit.

I’ve always been an outdoor rabbit but as I’m a very friendly, sociable boy I could also be quite happy living indoors too. Like most rabbits, I’m not a huge fan of being picked up but I love to be stroked on the head and hand-fed veggie treats.

On the subject of food, grass (but not cuttings) or hay is the most important food for me to eat. Complete rabbit foods and leafy vegetables such as cabbage, kale, broccoli, parsley and mint are good additions.

We rabbits are highly intelligent and inquisitive so we need plenty of things to do like tunnels, wood to chew on and toys to play with. If you have space, a sandbox or somewhere for me to dig would be great.

Watford Observer:

I’m looking for a home with adults or families with children of any age where the adults will do most of the handling. If living outdoors, I’ll need a large hutch with an attached run.

If you think I could be your bunny, come and cuddle me at the centre. Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
