A missing Watford man has been sighted on a train heading out of London.

Fifty-six-year-old Mark was seen at around 11pm last night (October 22) travelling on a train from Euston towards Milton Keynes.

Officers searching for Mark, who was first reported missing on Wednesday, believe he may have left the train at Hemel Hempstead or Tring.

Police have been unable to trace him since the sighting on the train and he remains missing.

Before last night's sighting, Mark had last been seen in the Breakspear Way area of Hemel Hempstead at around 3pm on Wednesday.

He was reported missing to police, who issued a public appeal on Thursday afternoon to find Mark, who is from Watford.

Today, Hertfordshire Constabulary issued a second appeal to find Mark, who is described as 5ft 11in tall, of medium build with thinning short brown hair and is usually clean shaven.

Police say Mark wears glasses and is likely to be wearing a green fleece, grey trousers and possibly a black raincoat.

He drives a blue BMW which has a 60 plate.

If you have seen Mark since he was reported missing or have information about where he has been, call Hertfordshire Constabulary’s on 101.

If you believe you are with Mark now or have seen him in the last few moments, call 999 immediately.
