Police have charged a man in connection with an aggravated burglary in Bushey.

The incident occurred in Little Bushey Lane around 5.30pm on Sunday, September 5.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says three people are reported to have entered a house that was being renovated and went upstairs.

A builder asked them what they were doing and the men, one of whom had a knife, left.

They made off in a dark coloured Audi A3.

No-one was threatened or harmed during the incident, police said.

Police were called by the victim and officers attended to carry out enquiries.

On Friday, October 22, a man was arrested in connection with the burglary.

PC Abigail Devane said: “We are continuing to work to identify and locate further suspects in connection with this burglary.

  • John Morgan, aged 26, of Grange View Road, London, was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and possession of cannabis. He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at court on 29 November.
