Watford stars and locals in the area have paid their respects to honour “legend” fashion designer and former footballer Marvin Morgan.

Messages of condolences were pouring in after Morgan, who grew up in Watford and made a name for himself during his football career and his fashion brand ‘Fresh Ego Kid’ died at the age of 38 over the weekend.

His cause of death has not yet been revealed, but he had been diagnosed with a cavernoma in the past - a cluster of abnormal blood vessels that are usually found in the brain or spinal cord - after suffering a seizure while training with Plymouth Argyle.

Send in your messages of respect to Marvin MorganVery sad. Summer of 94’ I was having a kick about down the Holywell with Ben R and Alan K, Marvin walked over ever so friendly and introduced him self and asked if he could play. We played for hours and hours. A few months later he walks up to us at the school playground as he’d just started Bushey Hall and asked if we remembered him. Such a lovely friendly person from the get go. I’m happy we stayed in contact through the years. RIP Marvin x
