A motorist drove off after a crash in Bushey that left a woman needing hospital treatement.

Emergency services rushed to the collision in High Street just after 6.10pm on Wednesday, January 12.

It was reported that two vehicles were involved and that one of them failed to stop at the scene - while a third vehicle parked nearby was also damaged.

A Vauxhall Corsa was recovered and the female driver went to hospital to be checked over.

The Corsa was left across the road with significant damage caused to its front left wheel, a photo taken at the scene showed.

The road was cleared by 8pm.

Hertfordshire Constabulary is now investigating and trying to find the second vehicle's driver.

The crash spot is almost identical to where a serious collision took place on Boxing Day.

A man suffered head injuries after he was hit by a car and then a bus he was intending to catch.
