Some households were left without water in Watford this morning (Friday).
A burst water main in Hempstead Road caused the issue and affected people in the WD17 area.
A repair team was working at the scene throughout the morning to fix the pipe.

“We’re really sorry about this, we’re working to get your water back to normal as soon as possible,” an Affinity Water spokesperson said.
While the water main has now been fixed, people may still experience low pressure during peak times over the weekend.
"(This is because) water will be directed from accross our network whilst we wait for sample results. This is to ensure that the water meets our strict water quality standards following the incident," Affinity Water said.
