County Durham's Nikita Jasmine is back on our screens, following her scandalous exit from reality TV show Married at First Sight.

Nikita, originally from Seaham, was born on July 7, 1994 and brands herself as a "Thai princess" on Instagram.

The 26-year-old first found herself in the headlines as part of E4's Married At First Sight UK series 6 cast.

The E4 series sees strangers 'get married' having never met each other before saying 'I do'.

Nikita was paired up with business development manager Ant Poole, 28, from Manchester. But it wasn't long before the reality star found herself embroiled in drama.

After the couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Mexico, an incident took place during the filming of an episode featuring a dinner and Nikita was asked to leave the show.

In a statement from Married At First Sight UK, the show said Nikita had acted in a way which “breached” the “agreed code of conduct on behaviour”.

A statement from the show said: “The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.

“During filming, a situation escalated off-camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour. As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment.

“All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved.”

E4's Celebs Go Dating

Following her exit, Nikita rose to the heights of Instagram fame and now has 77.3k followers, at the time of writing.

Nikita appeared to confirm speculation on social media in October 2021,  suggesting she is joining Celebs Go Dating, also on E4.

The hit show, which sees celebrities go on dates with members of the public, has featured Love Island, The Only Way Is Essex and Gogglebox stars since it began in 2016.

On Instagram, Nikita promised to show a "softer and more emotional" side which viewers "did not get to see" on the initial show.

She said: "I've joined the @celebsgodating agency and I can't wait for you all to see the softer, more emotional side of Nikita Jasmin that you didn't get to see on @e4mafsuk as well as the loud, funny gob s**** that I am."

The influencer promised a "belta" series to fans of Celebs Go Dating, prompting the support of well-known TV characters including Nathan Henry from Geordie Shore.

'Madam of mayhem'

Nikita's debut on series 10 of Celebs Go Dating saw narrator and comedian Rob Beckett describe her as the "madam of mayhem from Married at First Sight" and being "like a human sugar rush".

"The queen of dating has arrived," Nikita tells viewers in episode 1.

She later added: "I think I'm single because I won't settle for anything less than what I deserve. It's got to be top of the food chain."

Expressing her romantic hopes for the show, she said: "I'm hoping to meet husband number two."

Nikita's first pairing on Celebs Go Dating saw her date Lee ask, "Can you give me a chance to talk?".

Celebs Go Dating takes place at 9pm on E4.
