Two men have been charged in connection with an incident in which a man and teenage boy were held against their will and attacked.
The pair were falsely imprisoned at a property in Westland Road and the man, who is in his 40s, suffered fractures, bruising and swelling before requiring hospital treatment.
Police attended and a large amount of Class A drugs was recovered from the address, along with several mobile phones and hundreds of pounds in cash.
Seun Daramola, of Byron Road in Wealdstone, London, has been charged with the following offences:
- Causing GBH with intent – Section 18 (two counts)
- False Imprisonment (two counts)
- Possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin)
- Possession with intent to supply class A drugs (cocaine)
The charges relate to two incidents at the Westland Road address on Friday, January 14 and Thursday, January 20 respectively.
Following charge, 37-year-old Daramola appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, January 22 before he was remanded back in custody.
His next appearance at St Albans Crown Court has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 22.
